2012/2013 Cherry Season

This is just a quick note to thank all our loyal & new customers for making this season a successful one for Woodstock Orchards.

The picking season was rain free & sunny which ideal for cherry harvesting, although a record temperature of 42 degrees one day was not quite as ideal.

The website sales have increased greatly which is keeping the packers busy, Cherries were sent to all states of Australia (except W.A. & N.T.) with one box finding its way the the Governor General’s office! A week later we were very surprised & delighted to receive a hand written thank-you card in the mail. The card went “straight to the pool room” & is worked into as many conversations as possible…

Work on the cherry trees has already begun for next year’s crop of cherries with fertilising & pruning already under way, there is always something to do on a farm…much to Andrew’s disappointment…

Thanks again to all out customers & we look forward to seeing & hearing from you all again next year,

Mike, Carmel & Andrew
